Made with Marechal Foch grapes harvested from our Home Block Vineyard in West Kelowna, BC. The 2021 vintage was again a warmer vintage, but became quite hot in late June. Marechal Foch is a hardy grape that was able to withstand the heat as it grew just feet from the edge of Okanagan Lake. This allowed for a breeze of the lake to help moderate even the hottest of temperatures. This wine is made in the same smooth style as the first vintage in 2020. Bright fruit notes of cherry, blackberry and plum and finishes are complemented by rich mocha flavours. It's the soft ripe tannins that makes this wine so popular! Aged in French and American oak barrels for 9 months. 30% French and 70% American oak.
